A literary criticism of the book "Chimera" by John Barth is presented. It outlines the resemblance of Chimera as a mythological monster of incongruities and anomalies based on the three novellas that are linked intertextually and intratextually. It explores Barth's concept of the exhaustion of literary and narrative possibilities in the contemporary, posmodern period. |
