The article presents a profile and discusses the work of the Ghanaian painter Kwame Akoto, also known as Almighty. The author notes that Akoto works in a wide variety of genres, including commercial and advertising art, and works of fine art. In addition, Akoto depicts a wide range of subjects, including Christian themes, celebrity portraits, self-portraits, as well as visions of demons, the devil and hell. The author also comments on Akoto's conversion to Christianity in the early 1990s and the importance of this event on his art and life. |
