Abstrakt: The article analyzes the animated film "Ratatouille." It suggests that the film addresses themes including "anyone can cook," "the new needs friends," and "change is nature" which combine to present a democratic system based on sensation, vulvernability, and creativity. It goes on to suggest that the film defends "the new" and change in an effort to support Pixar, the studio that produced the film, and its position as a leading innovator in the modernization of the animation industry.
