Examines the effect of iron and copper loading on rat brain and other organs and plasma concentrations of these metals and iron transport into the organs during development. Dietary copper's lack of effect on kidney iron concentrations; Conclusion that combined dietary supplementation with iron and copper alters the metabolism of each metal. |
