The article focuses on report released by the Congressional Research Service (CSR) as of January 15, 2009 that examines the role of the Congress as a consumer of national intelligence. Topics discussed include limitations to congressional access to some national intelligence, Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) effort to improve intelligence source transparency and access granted to the President, as commander-in-chief and head of the executive branch, to all national intelligence data. |
