The article discusses the research program on birds of prey in Yellowstone National Park known as the Yellowstone Raptor Initiative (YRI), which is funded by the Yellowstone Park Foundation. An overview of the YRI's research methodology, including its use of surveys and monitoring of red-tailed hawks, falcons, Swainson's hawks and golden eagles, is provided. |
