The article focuses on the duties that management must perform in order for a company to double its production. It cites an explanation made by a financier to prove to a group of workers that their demands for better salary were unreasonable under the then existing company conditions. Also discussed are comments from newspapers saying that increasing production by effective management is considered a very questionable way of speeding up workmen. |
