The article focuses on a contract between U.S. pipeline company Panhandle Eastern and Algeria for the delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) as of January 1983. The author discusses the average and marginal cost of the LNG, Panhandle's expenses, the gas' worth per thousand cubic feet (mcf).
