Abstrakt: The article focuses on the cellular immunity and telomere length related to Chernobyl accident in Ukraine. It cites the clinical-diagnostic and immunological studies carried out in 136 clean-up workers with with a radiation dose of external exposure with the use of mini-mental state examination (MMSE) and Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS. It states that in assessing mental status, it was showed that 86.7% of workers exposed to radiation dose had signs of organic mental disorder.
