Abstrakt:	Isoindolo[2,1-a]quinolin-11-ones have been synthesized by one-pot reaction of 3-hydroxy-2-arylisoindol-1-ones with 1,3-dicarbonyls via coupling of N-acyliminium ion intermediates with 1,3-dicarbonyls and subsequent intramolecular Friedel-Crafts reactions catalyzed by H3PO4-P2O5 or H3PO4-H2SO4.
