Abstrakt: The article discusses a study of the potentials of transcranial direct current stimulation (TDCS) as a method for improving responses between motor execution and inhibition. The researchers recruited 40 healthy subjects and asked them to perform the stop-signal (SS) task before, during, and after the delivery of anodal TDCS. They found that SS processing times have reduced during and after TDCS. They also concluded that TDCS could be used to improve response inhibition in patients.
