Abstrakt: The article presents a study which was carried out to compare the sensitivity and specificity of school hearing screening in Pennsylvania with hearing screening designed to detect adolescent hearing loss. The study was carried out in a single public high school in 2011. It concludes that current school hearing screens have low sensitivity for detecting adolescent hearing loss.
