| Abstrakt: | An interview with Edward St. Martin, a cardiologist is presented. He highlights the impact of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy to the human health which is an acute stress from the daily life experience. He states that middle-aged or postmenopausal women are prone with Takotsubo cardiomyopathy due to the sudden release of adrenalin. He details several factors that could trigger the syndrome including anger, devastating loss and surprise. |
