The article briefly discusses previous Wyoming Title Standards and proposes new standards, as of 2013. The topics discussed include the eight original standards for title examinations adopted in Wyoming in 1946, U.S. Supreme Court's 1987 definition of marketable title, and U.S. court case Bethurem v. Hammett. Also discussed are the legal definition of encumbrance and the Wyoming Marketable Title Act. |
