This paper reports on the application of the Project Based Learning (PBL) methodology in the teaching of Electronics Instrumentation to undergraduate students using as e-learning platforms the well-known Moodle framework and Redmine, a project management web application. In this PBL implementation each student group develops a different measurement or data acquisition project over the course of an entire academic term, maintaining customer-provider relationships with other groups. In this context, Redmine complements Moodle by providing dynamic time tracking and task management capabilities.
