Transient bilateral vestibular dysfunction caused by intoxication with low doses of styrene.

Abstrakt: The article presents case study of a 76-years old man who was hospitalized after he experienced spasmodic sensation in the forehead and writer's camp. Slight pallhypesthesia of distal extremities was observed after the first neurological examination. The patient organized an analysis of his home in which high level of styrene in the air was detected. Improvement in symptoms was observed after eight months since the cessation of exposure to styrene.
