Abstrakt: | Research is presented that compared the kinetics and power production in 17 men who performed the resistance weight training exercises hang clean (HC), jump shrug (JS), and high pull (HP) at different relative loads. The study found that the JS produced more peak power output (PPO), peak force, and peak velocity (PV) of the lifter plus bar system than the HC and HP did, noting that HP produced more PPO and PV than HC. The optimal 1 RM (1 repetition maximum) HC loads for JS and HP are noted. |
