The article discusses the environmental responsibility of businesses in the United States. Being green is increasingly viewed as a catalyst for constant innovation, new market opportunity, and wealth creation. According to Noah Walley and Bradley Whitehead, this view is highly unrealistic. Twelve experts including Richard A. Clarke of Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Professor Robert N. Stavins of Harvard University, J. Ladd Greeno of Arthur D. Little, Inc., Joan L. Bavaria of Franklin Research & Development Corporation, Frances Cairncross from "The Economist," and Professor Daniel C. Esty of Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, assess both viewpoints. |
