The article presents a case study of a 68-year-old woman who was taken to the neurology department due to seizures and headache five days following a right carotid endarterectomy. She was diagnosed with cerebral hyperperfusion syndrome which developed after carotid endarterectomy. The pathophysiology of cerebral hyperperfusion syndrome and its treatment are discussed. |
