| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the night when hunter Philip Wilheit Jr. with guide Jeffrey Shepard hunted the alligator at the pond of Palmetto Lakes, Georgia resident Phillip Scott. Topics discussed include a short history of American alligators and their resemblance to dinosaurs, restriction of alligator hunting which leveraged the reptiles reproduce freely and some alligator attacks in the state recorded by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) since 1980s. |
