The author discusses the success of the Order Sons of Italy America's (OSIA) members to urge businessman Adam Haber to apologize regarding his advertising campaign on Cablevision Channel 12 on Long Island in 2013. She says that the unity and cooperation of members from California and New York made a significant contribution to the victory. She also expresses appreciation to the defeat of a measure in California which aims to change Columbus Day with Native American Day. |
