The article offers information on the Robinson Crusoe project of the Baldwin Library at the University of Florida. It notes that the work involved collaboration between librarian, professor, and students for the analysis of paratextual matter in several editions of Daniel Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe." The article explains the Enlightenment salon meetings that were conducted in the university to subject Defoe's work to public scrutiny. |
