The article reports on the project Production and Consumption (PROCON) hosted by the University College London (UCL) Institute of Archaeology and funded by the European Research Council starting grant. It states that the project aims to assess the hypothesis that textile production and consumption was a major driving economic force and wealth creation in the Mediterranean Europe during urbanization and early urbanism in 1000-500 BCE. |
