Abstrakt: The article focuses on the discrimination against American Indian children in the educational institutes in Montana. It discusses how educational inequities are playing a role in increasing rate of adolescent suicides and self-harm. It also discusses the theory of the school-to-prison pipeline for American Indians, and the involvement of American Indian youth with the juvenile justice system in the state.
