The article focuses on the rock art and archaeological studies conducted by William Fitzhugh, Richard Kortum, and J. Bayarsaikhan in the Altai Mountains in western Mongolia. It says that the project titled "Rock Art and Archaeology: Investigating Ritual Landscape in the Mongolian Altai" is focused on archaeological remains and petroglyphic art. It adds that the project is aimed at developing a regional culture history with geographic mapping, and monuments and ritual sites excavations. |
