Abstrakt: The article focuses on several streambank stabilization projects in the U.S., which aims for flood control. It mentions projects including Black Warrior River in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a restoration plan along Thornton Creek stream in Washington and Des Plaines River watershed drains in Chicago, Illinois. It also discusses flooding of the Jacaguas River in Villalba, Puerto Rico, and erosion problem at a power plant undertaken by Los Angeles Department of Water and Power in California.
