The author comments on the importance of passing a comprehensive Food, Farm and Jobs Bill on the economy. He believes the Farm Bill would impact Americans by providing a wide range of programs that strengthen the nation by building a strong agriculture sector and by providing an abundant food supply. He cites several disasters which food producers faced over the past two years. His views on the strong crop insurance and safety net provided by the bill are also expressed. |
