The article examines the strategy of local authorities (LAs) in funding their facilities management (FM) requirement in Great Britain. It notes that LAs provide day-to-day activities like security services, building maintenance, and cleaning, which are funded through the revenue budget. It stresses that LAs do not allocate money from government revenue sources to fund FM requirements, these sources fund all types of general expenditure to local services, excluding housing and education. |
