Abstrakt: An experimental rationale for the formation of properties of copper, nickel, and zinc coatings as a function of the parameters of gas-dynamic spraying is presented. The possibility of applying copper of hardness up to 1500 MPa with a steel adhesive strength up to 50 MPa is shown. In this case, the constant of sliding friction of the sprayed copper on the structural steel is 0.07–0.08. Taking into account other properties (hardness, adhesion, roughness, etc.) of the coating, this may ensure an increase in wear resistance of parts in sliding friction pairs of machines and mechanisms. It was determined in the study that the nickel coating consists of particles with an initial 105-nm-size crushed grain (mosaic blocks), and, when the hardness is up to 2800 MPa, this can ensure an increase in the lifetime of the surface exposed to a corrosion environment and high temperature impacts. It was shown that the zinc coating allows an increase the breaking strength of the low-carbon steel exposed to the corrosion environment of 40 times. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
