The article provides information on acetaminophen, an active ingredient in Tylenol and considered safe when taken at recommended doses. Federal data from Center for Disease Control (CDC) showed that about 150 Americans die a year by accidentally taking too much acetaminophen. According to the Food and Drug Administration, acetaminophen has a narrow safety margin meaning the does that helps is close to the dose that can cause serious harm. |
