Abstrakt: The article presents a case study that investigates the effects of noise exposure on the health and safety of workers working at ski resorts in Colorado. According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), about five to 30 million employees are exposed to dangerous noise levels that can result to work-related hearing loss. Moreover, they found that ski resorts have high noise exposures due to snow groomers, chairlift operators and snow groomers.
