Severe tricuspid regurgitation after blunt chest trauma due to chordal rupture: a rare complication.

Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a 17 years old male patient who was admitted in hospital due to the complications of increasing shortness of breath and fatigue for the last three months. Doppler echocardiographic evaluation of the patient revealed severe tricuspid valve regurgitation. Doctors decided to repair his tricuspid valve and transferred him to the thoracic surgery department. The article discusses several reasons for tricuspid regurgitation.
