| Abstrakt: | The article offers information on the pros and cons of genetically modified organisms (GMO). One commonly cited reason for GMO labels is that GMO products are harmful to consumers. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, GMO are similar to conventional species which pose no greater risk to health than any conventional species. States are seeking to enact GMO labeling laws is because there are no federal laws that require or reject labeling of GMO. |
