| Abstrakt: | The article looks at railroad car company Wheelabrator-Frye, headed by Jack Kruizenga, and its purchase of same-business company Pullman Standard Inc. as of June 7, 1982. It is suggested that Jack Kruizenca plans to diversify Pullman Standard, to reduce production capacity, and control labor cost. The prospective economic growth of Pullman Standard and its competitors in the railroad industry are also addressed. |
