Abstrakt:	The article discusses Korea and its economic policies and prospects for the decade of the 1980s. It states that Korea is looking for high economic growth with stability and equitable income distribution. It also says that Korea is looking to expand imports and exports, increasing foreign investment, reducing dependency of oil by accelerating nuclear energy programs or switching to coal, and implementation of the Fair Trade and Anti-Monopoly act for the internal economy.
