Abstrakt: |
The article presents a case study of 43-year-old man with refractory status epilepticus who was treated with intravenous benzodiazepines, phenytoin and levetiracetam. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) demonstrated the changes in the left cerebellar hemisphere due to crossed cerebellar diaschisis (CCD). The characteristics of CCD are described. |
