Abstrakt: The article focuses on the comparison between the diagnostic accuracy of self-administered screening tests and examination methodology of general practitioner for diagnosing mood disorders. It mentions that mood disorders include depressive and bipolar disorders most commonly occurring in the U.S. It states that treatment options for mood disorders are available at primary care facilities which are not timely employed due to late diagnosis.
