The article offers guides in selecting clerical workers based on actual facts derived from surveys of many large office organizations. Topics discussed include, comparison of occupational sub-divisions in two general occupational groups on basis of scores in general intelligence test, and the relation of employees' test scores to position in the company. Also discussed is the Bureau of Personnel Research-recommended nine main grade classification of clerical work. |
