The article reports on American bank executives who were recruited from ranks of examiners as of August 1924. Some of them include Walter W. Head of the American Bankers Association, Daniel G. Wing of the First National Bank of Boston, Albert H. Wiggin of the Chase National Bank, and Percy H. Johnston of the Chemical National Bank of New York. The responsibility of examiners to determine whether the bank is sound and is being operated in accordance with the law is stressed. |
