Abstrakt: |
The article reports on the state of the U.S. economy as of November 1953. How far the economy will drift down in 1953 is highlighted. The government's spending dropped at an annual rate of 1.5 billion U.S. dollars to 82 billion U.S. dollars a year. Steel production is down while rubber is up. Reduced farm income resulted to difficulty in selling furniture, clothing and steel in rural areas. |
