Abstrakt: The article focuses on the findings from an assessment of the family centered treatment (FCT) program in Maryland. It informs that the program was aimed to provide an alternative to residential placements for adjudicated youth and reports that the FCT is a community-based program operated under the supervision of the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services. It also informs that the study assesses Maryland's FCT program in terms of recidivism and program costs.
