Abstrakt: The article discusses the results of a study that compared the effectiveness of drug and exercise interventions in mortality risk reduction. The study showed more effectiveness of physical activity interventions than drug treatment among patients with stroke. It concluded that exercise and drug interventions are similar in mortality benefits in the secondary prevention of coronary heart disease, heart failure treatment and diabetes prevention.
