Abstrakt: The article discusses the results of a study that examined the prevalence of abnormal prion protein (PrP) associated with variant-Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (vCJD) in Great Britain. The study showed an overall prevalence of 493 per million population with no significant difference in the prevalence with those born in 1941-1960 and those born between 1961 and 1985.
