Abstrakt: The article discusses the European Court of Justice (ECJ) case Google Spain vs. Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) wherein the court ruled against AEPD's upholding in relation to removal of indexing relating to the complainant from the search engine of its provider Google Inc. He is said to have concluded that the company is not a data controller and existing legislation does not permit any individual to make a search engine provider to remove his indexing from a third party publication.
