Abstrakt: The article offers the author's insight on the life and works of German painter and sculptor K&228;the Kollwitz. She states that Kollwitz's works mainly focused on various themes including women, children, and sorrows. She mentions that she bought Kollwitz's manuscript "Diary and Letters," which was translated into English by writers Clara and Richard Winston. She adds that Kollwitz's brother introduced her to his friend Karl Kollwitz, a medical student who later became her husband.
