Leading consultants in the emergency departments are more in favour of a specialty in emergency medicine than their collaborating colleagues.

Abstrakt:	The article focuses on a study on the knowledge of the emergency medicine (EM) discipline description among leading consultants from the emergency department (ED) and collaborating departments of Danish hospitals. The researchers sent an electronic questionnaire to leading consultants from the ED and collaborating departments. The study found that only 50 percent of collaborating leaders cooperating with the EDs have knowledge about the discipline description.
