The article discusses the highlights of the Young Ambassadors for Chemistry (YAC)'s visit to Kasulu, Tanzania on April 25-27, 2012. A brief history of the YAC is provided, which is a project of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry's Committee on Chemistry Education. An overview of the event is given which includes teacher workshops and lessons on the applications of chemistry. Locations of past events of the YAC are also presented, including Bulgaria, Ethiopia, and Cyprus. |
