Abstrakt: The article discusses the development of an ethical framework and practical procedure for the limitation of inappropriate therapeutic interventions for the improvement of the quality of care. It says that the well ground practice of ethical principles and the training of intensive care unit (ICU) staff are required in the quality critical care. Moreover, the evolution of appropriate legislation must be led by the consensus regarding the practices of end-life care in the ICU in India.
