Abstrakt: Healthy male volunteers were given either imipramine (25 mgs three times a day), viloxazine hydrochloride (Vivalan) (50 mgs three times a day), placebo or no tablets on a double-blind basis., Subjects took the tablets for 7 days, and were tested before treatment and then after 1, 7 and 21 doses., The Stroop Colour-Word test was used to assess performance., While no significant drug effects were found it is suggested that some of the trends shown are indicative of a slight worsening of performance with imipramine and a slight improvement with viloxazine hydrochloride after seven doses.
