The incidence of vesico-ureteric reflux, urethritis, trigonitis, cervicitis, renal papillary necrosis, renal ptosis and congenital abnormalities of the upper urinary tract is reported. The urological findings are discussed in relation to age, duration of symptoms, excessive phenacetin intake and with reference to their possible significance in the aetiology of chronic pyelonephritis.
